Sign in even if it seems full, you need to check in 15 minutes in advance and you could take the spot of someone sleeping on check-ins.

Stream

IRC

Date and time

5/20/2015 8:00PM EST (tentative, can be delayed if entrants are low and we can get more)

1 set per round in winners will be chosen to be streamed until top 8 (last 8 players remaining) where all matches in winners will be streamed. Losers will be streamed only if winner's is waiting on it. If the stream round ends and you’re still waiting for your opponent to show and are getting no feedback they lose and you advance.

"Max" 32 Entrants

Best 2 out of 3, 3 out of 5 for Semi-Finals onward for Winners and Losers.

Double Elimination

Rules:

4 stock 8 minutes

No Items

Winner in time out is determined by highest stocks then lowest %. If they're totally even match is decided by a 1 stock 3 minute match.

Additional Rules:

Time out is determined by highest stock count then lowest damage

If you disconnect mid-game you lose that game in the set

Laggy matches still count, quitting out without my say so will result in a loss for you

Pausing is only allowed if you consult your opponent or if you are on the spawn platform, if you pause any other time you must forfeit a stock.

How to be DQ'ed:

If you're behind the stream (i.e. stream is in round 2 and you're in round 1) and don't communicate with your opponent or the TO for 5 minutes you lose one game, then you get another 5 minutes and if you still don't say anything you lose another and so on. Just let me or anyone who can let me know that you're alive and you need a second and we're good.

Streamed matches specific rules:

Make sure the streamer's controller is off if he's not playing

Make sure that someone is Player 1

Shut off music via the in-game menu

Change screen to Widescreen

Starter:

Battlefield

Dreamland

Pokémon Stadium 2

Counterpicks(rotated each week):

Stage Striking

For the first match, players will take turns striking starter stages until one is left (1-2-1-1). That is where the first match will take place. For the second match, the winner bans 3 stages from the entirety of the legal stage list and the Loser picks from the remaining stages. You cannot pick a stage you have already won on in the current set, however, if both players agree on a stage (literally any stage) it is okay to pick it, do not pick laggy stages. I will count a loss for whoever resets it if it lags and desyncs will be decided by whoever won on stream.

Character Choice

For Game 1 you choose whoever you want! For all other games in the set the winner of the previous game announces which character they're choosing, then the loser of the previous game chooses a character.

Have fun!
